Da M’Bri Hydropower which is a medium-sized project has two generating units with the capacity of 75 MW and the estimated annual power output of 338 million kWh. As said by Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh, the Director of the South Hydropower Joint Stock Company, the design indexes such as 56.3 million-m3-capacity reservoir, 7,000 meter-long supply tunnel, 1,335 meter-long penstock pipe, etc., Da M’Bri Hydropower will not only add energy production to the national power network but also contribute to the tourism industry in Bao Lam district in line with the present Da M’Bri waterfall’s ecosystem tourism when being put into operation in 2010.
