Vietnam – Australia Power System College: Opening the 2nd class

On October 17, 2007, in Electric Power University (EPU), the Opening Ceremony of Vietnam – Australia Power System College for freshmen of the first course, second series was held. 


This is a training program resulted from the association of EPU and Chisholm Institute – Australia. Lecturers of EPU and Chisholm Institute will directly give lectures in the whole course lasting for 3 years with 6 semesters, of which the first 3 semesters will be for intensive English and some basic subjects and the other 3 semesters will be for specialized subjects taught in English by teachers that achieve the national standards of Australia. The period facilitates students with specialized knowledge and practical skills via learning in class with high-tech visual aids. Moreover, the training program also has many other forms to strengthen, enhance and diversify the skills and knowledge for students like English clubs, extracurricular activities or intensive English classes based on students’ English levels.


After attending the training course, students can further study in the University of Chisholm Institute – Australia, or work for power plants, domestic as well as foreign joint ventures with their high quality certificates.
