On March 24, 2023, in Hanoi, National Load Dispatch Center (EVNNLDC) had a meeting with Australian Embassy in Vietnam in order to discuss the future cooperation between two parties in the field of energy.
At the meeting, two parties discussed the short course about operating power system and power market in the context of renewable energy taking place in May 2023 and the potential for cooperation between EVNNLDC and Australian Embassy in the period from 2023 to 2025, including capacity building, fostering collaboration in research, training and developing EVNNLDC’s infrastructure.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh – Director of EVNNLDC emphasized that the cooperation will play a significant role in enhancing capability of power system and power market operation, especially in the context of high share of renewable energy.
Mr. Ben Davis – First Secretary of Economic Section, Australian Embassy stated that Australian Embassy was eager to provide technical assistance for EVNNLDC in particular and energy sector in general, share the Australian experiences in energy transition as well for the sake of the green and sustainable development of Vietnam.
