On the occasion of 40 year celebration of EVNCPC foundation (October 7, 1975-2015), EVNCPC organizes the Photography contest “Electricity and Life”.

The photos should express the business activity of EVNCPC, highlight the multi-faced beauty of the electrical energy, the electricity and the workers. the beauty of electricity in the ordinary day life in the Central and Highland provinces from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa and 4 highland provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong.
 
The contest is open to all Vietnamese people and foreigners.
 
Entry Period: From April 1st, 2015 to August 31st, 2015.
 
Submission of entry
 
- Each participant can submit a single photo or an album. An album will be treated as equal to a single photo, each album is limited to a total of 10 photos.
 
- Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed. Participants will not frame, photoshop, delete or insert more details in the photo. 
 
- Entries should be in JPEG format (File size: 3Mb up to 20Mb); following information should be included: author’s name, address, telephone number, entry’s title, description of the photo is recommended (the author is responsible for the information related to the photo).
 
- Submission photos will be sent to the email address: p11pc3@gmail.com (Clearly indicating: Submission photos to the contest: Electricity and Life).

Awards and Prizes
 
The announcement and award ceremony will be held in October 2015, with the following prizes:
 
- One 1st place: 15,000,000 VND/prize
 
- Two 2nd place: 10,000,000 VND/prize
 
- Three 3rd place: 5,000,000 VND/prize
 
- Five Encouragement award: 2,000,000 VND/prize
 
If a participant has more than 1 winning work, the work which wins the highest place will be chosen to be rewarded.
 
EVNCPC will publish the winning photography to CPC News; website cpc.vn and notify the winners.
 
Winners are entirely responsible for all entry-related costs such as travel, accommodation and irregular income tax (if any). 
 
General rules
 
- Members of Organization committee and Judging committee can participate in the contest and exhibit their works but will not be chosen to judge.
 
- Entries must be the original work of the entrant, entries never won any prior contests and conflict with any copyright owner. Entrants are entirely responsible for their photos.
 
- Photos that violate or infringe the contest rules; photos that disparage other person or inappropriate for the customs and habits of Vietnam; photos with watermarks… will be removed without notice.
 
- If evidence of fraud or unauthorized works are found, the status of the winner will be eliminated.
 
- If the winner cannot go to the award ceremony, he/she can authorize another person to receive prize (written authorization prescribed by the State and must be transferred to the Organization committee before the announcement and the award ceremony).
 
- The Organization committee reserves the right to reproduce any entry in print, broadcast and/or electronic media without requiring the permission of the participant.
 
- The Organization Committee has the right to check the original photo if needed.
 
- In the entry period, the Organization committee will publish the some good entries on the website, CPC news and the author will receive payment.
 
- The Organization committee will not take responsible in case of losing photography, reducing the photo quality because of transferring.
 
- The entries (including storage devices, such as CD, DVD, USB…) will not be returned after the contest.
 
- If a problem occurs before or after the contest, but this issue is beyond the rules, the decision of the Organization committee is the final one.
 
- The Organization committee will not be held responsible if the contest is postponed or canceled due to force majeure.
