In the Morning of September 27, 2019, a ceremony for inaugurating the rooftop solar power system funded by the European Union (EU) took place at Vo Thi Sau Primary School (Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City).

This is a sub-project in the project of Da Nang Solar Energy Development (DSED) implemented by Da Nang Center for Energy Conservation and Technology Transfer Consultancy.
The DSED has chosen to install the pilot rooftop solar power systems with a capacity of 8,25 kWp per system at 4 public offices as: Da Nang Cancer Hospital, Da Nang Hospital, Hoang Dieu Secondary School (Thanh Khe District) ) and Vo Thi Sau Primary School (Hai Chau District).
In addition, the solar power systems with a capacity of 2.75 kWp per system were also installed in 6 households.
All the above solar power systems have basically been put into operation and connected to the National Power Grid since June 2019, for meeting a part of electricity demand of selected public offices and households.
