Xuan Thien Ea Sup solar PV park in Dak Lak
The first phase of Xuan Thien Ea Sup solar power project with a capacity of 600 MW (831 MWp) and an annual average generation of 1.5 billion kWh including nearly 2 million solar PV panels, 500 kV transformer substation with capacity of 1.200 MVA and 500 kV transmission line with a length of 22.2 km invested by Xuan Thien group with a total investment level of 20.000 billion VND. This project is considered a largest solar power project in ASEAN at present.
Currently, the project has been completed with 100% construction and installation volumes and eligible for connecting with the national power system in November 15, 2020.
The Xuan Thien Group representative informed that, the whole project with a total capacity of 2,000 MW (2,800 MWp) and an annual average generation of around 5 billion kWh along with 500 kV transformer substation with a capacity of 2,400 MVA expects to be completed at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022.
“The first phase of Xuan Thien Ea Sop solar power project was developed in period between the two Covid-19 pandemic turns and much impacted by the large rainstorms but thanks to efforts of the worker team the project has been completed within 205 days and eligible for powering 5 months earlier than schedule", Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - General Director of Xuan Thien Group shared.

At present, Xuan Thien Group is investing in 3 plants for producing electrical equipment as: a plant for producing solar PV equipment with capacity of 360MW per year in Hoa Binh province, and the plants for producing wind power equipment with a capacity of 3,000MW per year each in Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan provinces.
