Unit 1 of Thai Binh 2 TPP has synchronized with the National Power System.
This is an important milestone of the project, affirming the political determination and efforts to overcome the difficulties of PVN, Thai Binh 2 PMU, the General Contractor PETROCONs and relevant contractors in completing and putting the project into commercial operation with a timely schedule.
According to Thai Binh 2 PMU, up to now, the overall progress of the project has reached more than 93% including design at 99.9%, procurement at nearly 98%, test run at 40%; construction and installations at nearly 94%.
Completing the important milestones of the project is a great effort of PVN, Thai Binh 2 PMU, General Contractor and the Subcontractors, especially the close interests and directions of the Government, relevant Ministries, and active support of the Thai Binh Provincial People’s Committee. The Thai Binh 2 TPP completion participates in ensuring energy security of the country, developing socio-economy and economic transition of the Thai Binh province, particularly and of the Northern Delta Region, generally.
