The project had a total cost of 123.7 billion VND (5.67 million USD) sourced from the remaining capital of the ‘Improving energy efficiency in rural areas’ project sponsored by the German Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Launched in July 2014, the project completed the new installation of 156.45 kilometres and upgrades to 99.43 kilometres of medium-voltage electricity lines. The figure for low-voltage lines are 182.51 kilometres and 63.68 kilometres, respectively.
The EVN SPC also installed 128 transformers with combined capacity of 4,905 KVA and 2,862 electricity meters.
