The World Bank-funded Distribution Efficiency Project started in central Thanh Hoa Province.

The project, which costs more than VND4.2 trillion (US$201 million), will be implemented by Electricity of Viet Nam's Northern Power Corporation over the next five years.

This is the largest power grid project funded by the World Bank so far, and aims to improve the operation of electricity distribution networks for power corporations in Viet Nam.
