Built with a total investment of 2.068 billion VND (97 million USD), the three-turbine plant will add around 314 million KWh of electricity a year to the national grid.
Construction of the plant began on January 22, 2010 and was suspended in 2011 due to financial problems. Work at the site was resumed in June 2013.
Its turbines No. 1, No.2 and No.3 were connected to the national grid in August, September and November this year, contributing to meeting the increasing demand of power use nationwide.
