HROTE launched the call on Wednesday and will accept submissions by June 27, 2024.
The public tender follows a public call in April that aimed to collect bids for participation in the competition for market premiums, which are calculated as the difference between the reference value and the reference market price of electricity.
According to the press statement, the tender is open for wind, solar photovoltaic (PV) and hydropower technologies, with proponents being able to participate in two main categories in terms of the proposed capacity. Maximum reference prices have been set for each of the two groups, ranging between EUR 67.05 (USD 71.71) per MWh and EUR 158.30/MWh, as announced in the April call.
Each of the winning projects will be able to receive a market premium of up to EUR 30 million.
