To this end, the Dak Nong power company has invested 179.5 billion VND (nearly 8 million USD) in building and renovating the local power networks and improving the quality of power transmission in the province’s remote and border areas, according to the company’s director Tran Van Thuan.
The firm also carried out a project, worth over 20 billion VND (880,000 USD), to provide electricity for people in disadvantaged and border villages in Tuy Duc district.
It has focused more on improving electricity network credibility and customer-care services so as to increase customer satisfaction across the province.
To date, the company has managed about 1,690 km of medium-voltage lines, 1,700 km of low-voltage lines and 1,800 transformer stations, and provided electricity for over 142,000 households.
