Gazprom and PVN discussed cooperation to develop power and LNG projects

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed: during attending the 9th Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF), in the Russian Federation, PVN President Tran Sy Thanh had a meeting with the leaders of Gazprom Group to discuss promoting the existing cooperation between Gazprom and PVN, and developing projects in power generation and liquefied natural gas (LNG) production.

The leaders also discussed the continuous signing the agreement on strategic cooperation between the two sides.
 
The Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) 2019 was held in Saint Petersburg as a symposium to facilitate representatives of the government agencies, gas businesses, science researching organizations and design institutes to discuss developing gas industry.
 
The main subject SPIGF 2019 was "Strategic priority in international energy partnership".
 
Experts exchanged their views on new trends in the gas market, discussed the current and long-term trends in developing the gas industry, introduce the new technologies and solutions on creative production.
 
At SPIGF 2019, there was also successfully organized an exhibition on the gas sector with more than 300 pavilions on exploration, exploitation, transportation, processing, digital technology, commerce and power gas etc… from nearly 20 nations.
 
Before the forum, in Moscow, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh and members of PVN delegation had a working meeting with the leaders of Zarubezhneft Company and Rosneft Group.
 
At the meeting with Mr. Sergey Kudriashov, General Director of Zarubezhneft, the two sides exchanged issues related to the operations of the Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro and discussed the future development directions, and especially, the orientation on cooperation of Vietsovpetro after 2013.
