Thac Ba Hydropower Company: Use 90% of after-tax profit as dividends

In 2007, the total before-tax profit of the Company was recorded at more than VND 79.7 billion and the after-tax profit was over VND 67.7 billion. Hence, the Shareholder Meeting of the Company has determined to use 90% of the after-tax profit as dividends to pay for shareholders. Then, the dividend rate in 2007 was 9.6%.
In 2008, Thac Ba Hydropower Joint Stock Company attempt to achieve 350 million kWh of power production, of which power sales is 342 million kWh and power loss is 2.11%. The revenue in 2008 is estimated at VND 189.5 billion, the before-tax profit is VND 89.1 billion and the dividend rate is 10%.
