The award ceremony was organized by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) and VietTimes Magazine in Hanoi.
Vietnam Digital Awards is an annual award, sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications, to honor outstanding digital transformation achievements of State agencies, public service units, businesses, and individuals who have contributed to promoting the national digital transformation. This year, nearly 400 agencies and businesses submitted applications to participate in the award.

Among them, the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) was honored to win the Award for the "Software to calculate daily power loss for affiliated units".
Being put into operation since 2021, up to now the "Software to calculate daily power loss for affiliated units" has been deployed in all 21 member power companies of EVNSPC, from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau with more than 250 power departments and about 1,000 users.
With this software, all distributed data from previous systems has been brought into a shared data warehouse and used API to exploit and provide intuitively and effectively. Thereby, data on power loss has helped leaders and employees throughout the Corporation analyze, manage, and provide timely solutions in reducing power loss of units.
In the period 2021-2023, the Corporation's power loss rate has decreased deeply, from 0.11-0.13%/year... In 2023, it dropped to 3.76% - a very low rate compared to other power utilities in advanced countries in the region and around the world.

EVN Information and Communications Technology Company (EVNICT) was honored with the "Meter Data Management System (EVN MDMS)".
The system has provided metering data collected from hundreds of thousands of meters everywhere and centralized it for quick and effective management and exploitation; providing services for nearly 1,000 units in the power industry and nearly 900 units outside the industry and abroad in electricity delivery, electricity payment, and electricity market. The application of the system helps bring transparency to the electricity delivery and payment, simplifying procedures for settling and delivering electricity, etc.
