200 enterprises to participate in Entech Hanoi 2011

On the morning of May 11th, at the office of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, a press conference was held to introduce the International Exhibition Fair on "Environment and Energy Technology - Hanoi 2011" (ENTECH HANOI 2011).

Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1742/QD-UBND dated April 15th 2011 on implementing the Program on energy efficiency and conservation in the city of Hanoi in 2011, including the organization of the International exhibition fair on "Environment and Energy Technology - Hanoi 2011" (ENTECH HANOI 2011) to create opportunities for domestic and foreign businesses to cooperate, transact, introduce and promote energy saving and environmentally friendly technologies. With the participation of about 150 domestic and foreign booths, ENTECH HANOI 2009, 2010 attracted nearly fifty thousand participants to come to visit and research, and especially through the fairs, many contracts were signed with the total value of millions of US dollars. This year, the number of participants has increased sharply, including 200 booths displaying energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, products with the participation of nearly 70 businesses of Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong, China, New Zealand... At ENTECH HANOI 2011, visitors will have the chance to visit exhibition of energy saving products and technologies, such as high efficiency energy-saving light bulb, power-saving lighting technology; industrial boiler; heat exchanger; solar water heater; electrical equipment (inverter, power boss, ennerkeeper...); power saving LED bulb; solar power absorber; solar cells; high efficiency boilers; energy management and control system; new generation smart air energy water heater; heat loss monitoring system; gas loss monitoring device; battery; technology of producing fuel from waste; waste disposal by biotechnology; biomass  combined with generation; garbage incineration; ... This year, the organizers aim to promote the communication on energy saving; an approximately 200 m2 display area shall be set up to introduce the State's policies, energy saving measures and technologies. The area will be arranged according to five areas of energy efficiency mentioned in the Law on energy efficiency and conservation, which are industrial production, transportation, agricultural production, services and household activities. In the framework of ENTECH HANOI 2011, several seminars shall also be held to raise the awareness of society of the efficient use of energy, such as the workshop on "Improving energy efficiency in buildings"; the conference "Communication on electricity and energy efficiency measures in households”; the seminar "Promotion of energy saving activities in industrial production ", the contest "Students learning about energy conservation”; the competition "Learning about energy saving in households”. The Opening Ceremony of ENTECH HANOI 2011 will be held at 9 am on May 25th, 2011 at A1 building, Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center, with the participation of leaders of the People’s Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Director of Environment of Busan city, South Korea, representatives of more than 30 Korean businesses, representatives of departments and branches, representatives of Industry and Trade Departments in Northern provinces, representatives of media agencies and many business operating in the field of energy saving.
