EVN member companies resumed power supply to more than 36,000 customers as of yesterday. However, 249 households in the northern Quang Ninh, Son La and Lang Son provinces are yet to have their power supply restored.

The Bac Giang Power Company finished repairing all grid sub-stations in the province by 2pm yesterday. The cost of the repair work was nearly VND2 billion (US$91,700), NPC said.

In Son La Province, 117 households are living without power as floods have made it difficult to transport alternative equipment to the area.

In Quang Ninh Province, floods and landslides have left 102 households without power.

The NPC is working round the clock to restore power supply in the flood-hit areas.
