After receiving the announcement, electricity companies in the city have postponed the power cutoff, which is periodically needed in order to maintain the power grid.

The new power shut down date will be from January 20 to January 25.

During this period, electricity will be switched off to some 24 districts around the city for a period of five hours per day; but only one day of the week.
