Pre-departure briefing for the training course “Strengthening power system and market operations in the context of renewable energy”

On April 14, 2023, in Hanoi, National Load Dispatch Center (EVNNLDC) had a meeting with Australian Embassy in Vietnam, Aus4Skills and Curtin University (Australia) representatives in order to discuss the course “Strengthening power system and market operation in the context of renewable energy”.

At the meeting, both sides discussed the agenda for the course about operating power system and power market in the context of renewable energy taking place in May 2023 lectured by Curtin University within the scope of cooperation between EVNNLDC and Australian Embassy as well as the potential for cooperation between EVNNLDC and energy utilities in training and research.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh - Director of EVNNLDC emphasized that the course could be the first step in the long-term collaboration with Australian Embassy and looked forward to establishing strong relationships and exchanging experiences in power system and power market operation with utilities EVNNLDC will meet.

Mr. David Gottlieb - Economic Counsellor of Australian Embassy expressed his pleasure and welcomed all member of EVNNLDC participating in the upcoming course as well as expected a beneficial result, contributing to the cooperation between Vietnam and Australia in energy sector.
