Signing a contract to install turbines and generators for Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Project

Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company signed a contract to install the whole equipment including turbines, generators and auxiliary equipment for Van Phong 1 Thermal Power project with Vietnam Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corporation (TPSC Co., Ltd).

The contract with a total value of over 284 billion VND requires Lilama 18 to complete installing turbines; generators; processing and installing pipes and steel structures; installing insulations and E&I.
 
Before this contract, Lilama 18 has signed the contracts with the other partners for installing the auxiliary equipment such as electro-mechanical and automatic, measurement and control systems; cooling system; circulating pump system; the main and auxiliary equipment for the transformer substation,… with a total value of more than 1000 billion VND.
 
Van Phong 1 thermal power project (TPP) invested with a total capital up to $2.58 billion in BOT form by Japanese Sumitomo Corporation. The project has two units with the supercritical boilers and a total capacity of 1320 (2x660) MW. The project is developed in Van Phong economic zone, Khanh Hoa province
 
In operation, the capacity of Van Phong 1 TPP will be released through 500kV Van Phong – Vinh Tan transmission line to improve electricity supply for the Southern power system.
