In order to satisfy the power demand of the national economy in the coming time, Vietnam Electricity has set plans of:

(i) investing in the development of economical generation like hydropower, cast-in-place coal mining;

(ii) rationally developing new energy resources to provide power for areas that do not have power network assess; and

(iii) upgrading obsolete power plants, renovating management method, applying up-to-the-minute technology to improve the productivity of companies, guaranteeing the stable operation of the companies.
