As estimated, a “regional nuclear secure mechanism” will be established to assure that plutoni, an important material to produce nuclear weapons, will never be used for awful purposes.
The project plan also points out that ASEAN leaders will reach an agreement on applying “concrete measures to boost the use of recovered energy like solar energy, hydropower, wind power, tide, biological fuel and geothermal energy”; and will pledge to improve the energy using effectiveness which minimizes the fuzzy of biological diversion and lessens by 50% of the people who do not have chance to approach clean water in 2010.
Leaders of the State and ASEAN propose to sign the above document on November 20, in which member countries are required to comply with regulations on environment protection and inter-border antipollution.
While the energy potential in the region is still not fully tapped, the governments of the nations need to orient themselves to alternative energy resources which are considered quite clean and safe.
