The year 2022 is a milestone marking the journey of construction and development after 10 years of the establishment of Power Generation Corporation 2. In 2022, Power Generation Corporation 2 has achieved and surpassed the assigned power output plan. Total electricity production in 2022 is estimated at 16,219 million kWh, reaching 102% of the year plan, accounting for about 13% of the total electricity production of EVN and 3 power generation corporations; accounting for 6% of the total electricity output of the whole national power system.
In 2022, the Corporation has effectively and synchronously implemented solutions to ensure fuel for power generation for coal-fired power plants, contributing to strengthening the system's energy security.
EVNGENCO 2's power plants effectively participate in the electricity market. EVNGENCO 2 has preserved and developed state capital in enterprises. Cash-flow management in the whole corporation has been increasingly improved, helping to increase the efficiency of capital use and production and business.

The Corporation has ensured the progress and quality of construction investment of power source projects and works; expanded international cooperation towards investment in renewable energy projects. At the same time, the Corporation and its member units always pay attention to and promote major repair work to contribute to minimizing incidents and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of power plants.
In 2022, EVNGENCO 2 successfully held the 2022 Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, consolidated the Corporation's board of directors, strengthened the governance, and perfected internal management regulations under the form of a joint stock company.

Power Generation Corporation 2 has basically completed the digital transformation for the period 2021-2022. Notably, the Corporation has completed the remote warning system for downstream when discharging water for regulation and power generation operation - Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant; Establishment of Operation Control Center of Thac Mo Hydropower Plant. EVNGENCO 2 also completed the digital transformation tasks assigned by EVN.
