On October 4, in Hanoi, PetroVietnam Power Corporation - JSC (PV Power) held a signing ceremony to appoint a consortium for arranging and coordinating capital mobilization for Nhon Trach 3 & 4 power projects.

Currently, PV Power is one of the leading electricity producers and suppliers in Vietnam with good financial indicators in the electricity market. PV Power's projects always receive attention from domestic and international credit institutions.
 
Nhon Trach 3 & 4 Power Projects with a capacity of 750 – 800 MW and a total investment of 1.4 billion US$ are the first ones in Vietnam using imported liquefied natural gas (LNG).
 
With a goal to put the projects into commercial operation in 2024, PV Power undertakes to develop the projects with the most modern technology, the fastest progress, ensuring safety and efficiency.
 
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ho Cong Ky, the Chairman of PV Power Member Council expressed the pressure and awareness on a great responsibility to be assigned by the Government to develop the gas power industry – an important field in the economic development of the country.
 
Mr. Ky also affirmed that PV Power is incessantly promoting the produce and business efficiency and step by step becoming a reliable investment partner of the domestic and international investors. He informed that in recent time, Techcombank concentrated to finance the wind, solar power projects with successful results.
 
Techcombank and Military Bank (MB) have a close and long-term relationship with PV Power through the projects as Nhon Trach 2 thermal power project, Dakdrinh hydropower JS and Hua Na hydropower JS companies.
 
Mr. Ho Hung Anh, Techcombank Chairman expressed the honor to be a partner to arrange finance for Nhon Trach 3&4 and affirmed to travel with PV Power and Nhon Trach 3&4 projects for contributing to developing clean and sustainable energy projects and ensuring energy security for the country.
 
Mr. Luu Trung Thai, MB General Director considered that through the investment arrangement for Nhon Trach 3&4, the cooperation between MB and PV Power will more and more development in the future, especially for the green energy projects.
 
According to the letter on the appointment, Techcombank and MB will be responsible for assisting PV Power in establishing a suitable financial structure for the Nhon Trach 3 & 4 Power projects, coordinating capital arrangement for the partial and full project to ensure implementing projects in timely progress.
