Of the total investment worth 100 million USD, 85 percent comes from the Export-Import Bank of China and the remaining is contributed by the Cambodian Government’s corresponding fund.

Upon completion, expected within six months, the project will ensure sufficient electricity supply for 98,400 households.

In addition, it will help bolster the economy.
