Explaining the phenomenon, some telecommunication specialists reckoned that this was resulted from a wise strategy right from the beginning, which was accompanied by polices of services and network development suitable with the conditions of the market. Among those reasons, that EVNTelecom mapped out a right strategy, directing to a “hole” in the market which is wireless fixed telephone service E-Com was the most important one. Thanks to the state-of-the-art technology, low costs and the orientation to the ignored market, EVNTelecom had succeeded in providing customers with high quality service with low tariffs and no fierce competition from the leading mobile service providers like VinaPhone, MobiFone and especially Viettel. Consequently, EVNTelecom’s subscribers were expanded vigorously and sustainably. In mid September 2007, EVNTelecom welcomed the 2,000,000th subscriber and it actually became a great service provider in Vietnam.
