Vietnam Electricity Group Targets Output Of 85.14 Billion KWh In 2010

State-run Vietnam Electricity Group, or EVN, said Monday it is targeting total commercial electricity output of 85.14 billion kilowatt- hours this year, up 13.88%.

The company said it will invest VND52.8 trillion ($2.85 billion) in its power projects in 2010, up 15.5% from last year.

EVN said it will keep the rate of power loss during transmission under 10% this year. The rate was 9.7% last year.
