Completion of Dak Mi hydropower No.4 to complement for system with annual output of 752.51 million kWh

Dak Mi hydropower project No.4 is situated in Da Mi river in Phuoc Son district, Quang Nam province. It is totally invested VND 4,547 billion by Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Corporation (IDICO) and has the capacity of 190MW.

         

The project was began in April 2007, and to date, has basically finished additional work items such as apartment houses for officers, Managing Board’s department, construction camps, communication and power system, etc. 

The major constructions including the main dam, flow-controlling canal, spillway channel, upper-floor company and lower-floor company are seamlessly being carried out. So far, there are some works which have been completed like finishing and putting into operation the retaining dike and flow-controlling aqueduct; completing installation and right fin drying test, assuring to serve the construction in quarter I in 2008 with the weight of 253 tons.  

The resettlement houses has been already erected, stabilizing lives for 25 households who have to move to new accommodation, which is suitable with the local plan.  

As of progress rate, unit 1 will be put into function in quarter IV in 2010.
