The working group consists of 15 members who have the duty of investigating and examining the issues related to these power generations, negotiating with investors about the Project’s Contracts, solving the emerging problems in the implementing process, and setting up the cost schedule to fulfill the tasks assigned by the National Authorities as agreed in the Project’s Contract.
The Leader of the Working Group has the right to negotiate with the investors about the Project’s Contract and to implement projects on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to sign the contracts and deal with the related problems according to the regulations of law.
Moreover, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has just also established another Working Group on power projects, including 8 members to check the progress rate of the projects of the Power Plan for the period of 2006-2015-2025, which is called Power Plan VI in short.
This Working Group has the function of helping the Ministry of Industry and Trade to implement the power projects as planned to meet the schedule approved by the Prime Minister. It will examine the implementation of the power projects, report the results to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and also give the solution to the existing problems on the monthly basis. Furthermore, the Working Group, on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will work with the Ministries, Sectors, locals, investors and participants to solve the problems related to the implementing process of the projects.
