Vietnam and Japan signed the memorandum of constructing thermal power company

On November 27, Sumitomo Corporation of Japan revealed that the corporation and Lilama corporation have signed a memorandum which paved the way for the construction contract between two coal-fired thermal power companies in the Northern Central of Vietnam.

The investment for the project is paid by Ministry of Construction of Vietnam with an estimate of over USD 1 billion which equals to Yen 108 billion. The two thermal power companies is expected to be constructed in Ha tinh, Southern 340 km far from Hanoi. 

Sumitomo anticipated to co-operate with domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers if it gains the construction contract of the two mentioned thermal power companies which will hopefully be operation in 2011.
