The 220kV dual-circuit transmission line project connecting Bac Quang 220kV substation, invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), is a grade I, group B energy project with a total investment of nearly VND 309 billion.
The line goes through Luc Yen district (Yen Bai province) and Bac Quang district (Ha Giang province), the starting point is located in the middle of the span length at 148-149 Bao Thang - Yen Bai 220kV line, and the endpoint is the 220kV busbar in Bac Quang 220kV substation. The project is 43.3km long, including 117 foundation positions and 46 spans between anchor towels.
The connection line complete at this time had great significance, releasing the capacity of hydropower sources in Ha Giang province and the region to the national power system when this area entered the rainy season, and at the same time improving the reliability of Ha Giang province's high-voltage grid in normal operation mode as well as N-1 fault mode.
