He agreed with the use of compensation capital of Lai Chau province’s People Committee which is annually handed over to the province to invest in the construction of the infrastructure in resettling areas in Lai Chau commune, Phong Tho town and then make resettlement for some households in Muong Lay commune, Dien Bien province according to the detailed plan which had been approved. In addition, the People Committee of Lai Chau province also invests in highways and streets such as Nam Tam – Pa Khoa – Noong Heo and Nam Dong – Pu Dao to serve the resettlement in Sin Ho commune and tackles the problems resulted from floods in Co San, Nam Ham and Sin Ho in 2008. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to totalize the investment of the mentioned projects to make an addition to the Master Plan of emigration and resettlement for Son La hydropower project and then submit to the Prime Minister.
