Under assignment by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) to implement the 220 kV Pha Lai – Pho Noi, Pha Lai - Hai Duong transmission line replacement and improvement project – tower location turning to 500 kV Pho Noi substation (tower 70th), in Quarter I 2013, PTC 1 has promptly implemented the project, constructed and monitored contractors to ensure project progress. The final section of 220 kV Pha Lai – Pho Noi transmission line was completed quickly, safely. It successfully energized and transmitted power to the national power system at 19.50 on March 30, 2013, one day ahead of the assigned plan. This is also the first project which has applied the technology of Composite Core Thermal-resistance conductor.
The conductor replacement has contributed to reduce the overload for 220 kV Pha Lai - Hai Duong transmission line, meeting safely power supply to Hai Duong, Hung Yen areas and surrounding area.
