Quickly recover 1,785 insecure points in high-voltage power network in Tra Vinh

In order to guarantee the security of life, properties and business activities of the population, the Management Board of high-voltage power network security in Tra Vinh has collaborated with 8 units of relevant department and branches to spend VND 2.37 billion to execute the plan of quickly recover insecure points in the high-voltage power network.

At present, there are more than 1,785 dwelling-houses and projects insecure in communes and districts in the province, of which there are 1,580 dwelling-houses and projects (82%) having the structure of tiled roofs and inflammable walls, and 329 dwelling-houses and projects (over 17%) having roofs and walls not earth-connected or unsafe in terms of the distance from the high-voltage power network.
The management boards of all levels have propagandized to motivate the population to approve and comply with the policy of the province. Four solution groups have been established to promptly overcome the violations and at the same time examine to timely inhibiting new insecure incidents. Among those, technical solutions for dwelling-houses and projects are put into top priority. Complicated cases are not technically reformed but have to move with compensation as a rule. The progress rate from now to the end of the year is divided into two periods and Tra Vinh will attempt to shorten the time limit so that it will have completed the plan by the end of October 2008.
