The National Power Transmission Corporation has just energized three power grid projects including Song Hau - Duc Hoa 500kV transmission line, Long Khanh 220kV substation and connection line; rehabilitating Phu My TPP - Tan Thanh 110kV transmission line, which contributed to evacuating electricity generated from power plants in the region and improving electricity supply reliability.

Recently, all three projects have been managed and implemented by the Southern Power Project Management Board (SPMB) on behalf of the National Power Transmission Corporation.

Two circuits of Song Hau - Duc Hoa 500kV transmission line were successfully energized. This is one of the synchronous grid projects of Song Hau Power Center, to transmit the capacity of Song Hau 1 and Song Hau 2 power plants into the national power system (along with other 500kV transmission lines in the region such as My Tho - Duc Hoa, Duc Hoa - Phu Lam, Duc Hoa - Cau Bong, Duc Hoa - Chon Thanh, etc.).

Long Khanh 220kV substation and its connection line were successfully energized, ensuring power supply for Long Khanh city in particular and Dong Nai province in general, meeting local socio-economic development requirements of Dong Nai province and surrounding areas.

Besides, SPMB also successfully energized the project of rehabilitating Phu My TPP - Tan Thanh 110 kV transmission line and upgrading it into a mixed 220kV - 110kV 4-circuit transmission line. The project plays an important role in ensuring electricity supply for Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in general and Phu My town in particular, ready to absorb power from renewable energy sources in the province and ensure the security, safety, and efficiency of the power system operation.
