This is a level I energy project invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation, managed and operated by the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB), and took over the operation by Power Transmission Company 3.

Krong Ana 220kV substation was energized at the end of 2021 with an installed capacity of 2x125MVA as planned. The 220kV branch is scaled at 22.19km of a 2-circuit line, including 60 foundation locations, the starting point at Krong Ana 220kV substation, and the ending point connecting to the  Krong Buk-Buon Kuop 220kV transmission line.

Once completed, the project shall increase the capacity from the national 220kV power grid to supply power loads in Dak Lak province, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development. The project has a vital significance in ensuring the capacity release from renewable energy sources in the region to the national power system.
