Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Vice Manager of The Department of Technology, Science and Environment (The Ministry of Construction) and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hiep, Vice Manager of Saving Office (The Ministry of Industry and Trade) and the Chief of Energy Saving Office chaired the Workshop.
Just in the morning, there were more than 10 ideas specifically analyzing each problem mentioned in Chapter III of the Drafted Law about construction and some other articles of law. In general, as said by representatives, the Law is compulsory and popular all over the nation, so it needs to be clear and specific and the language should be easy to understand. Moreover, the Law needs to pay attention to households in the countryside because this is an important part of the country. Many representatives also reckoned that buildings should be licensed, households should be encouraged to use energy effectively and economically, and construction projects must conform to the program.
In the conclusion of the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hiep, on behalf of the law drafting group, accepted all the contribution of representatives and promised to adapt the Law to the practice and customs and traditions of Vietnamese people.
