Competition mobilization and water reservation ceremony
A Vuong Hydropower Company which has two units with the capacity of 210 MW and the annual power output of 815 million kWh will be started the construction on 31 August.
After four years of construction and overcoming numerous difficulties, of which there were two floods in 2006 and 2007, with the determination of putting the plant into operation in time, thousands of workers and officers in Licogi Company, Irrigation 4, Lilama 45.3, Lung Lo and so on have excavated mostly 3 million m3, poured nearly 400 thousand m3 of concrete, installed roughly 1000 tons of equipment, excavated more than 5.2 km of irrigation tunnel, etc.

After the ceremony of closing the irrigation drain and water reservation to prevent the risk of flood in August 2008, A Vuong Joint Stock Company has mobilized the competition of working, studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s morality example (the third round) to put the unit 1 into operation in November 2008 and complete the construction in quarter I/2009.
