Quang Tri hydropower plant officially opens

Dao Duy Tan, head of the management board of hydropower projects No 2 said it was the key hydropower plant to be built on Rao Quan River with total investment capital of 2.097 trillion dong. After completely finished, the project would include the multi-purpose hydraulic power system, energy routes, specific purposed road and management network, and other supporting and administration facilities.

Quang Tri hydropower plant has designed capacity of 64MW with two turbines, supplying electricity for the whole central region.
