On August 22, the Southern Power Corporation Trade Union held a signboard mounting ceremony at the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) Trade Union level for the project “Long Khanh 110kV substation and connection line, Dong Nai Province”.

The project is located in Suoi Tre Industrial Park, Suoi Tre Ward, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province. The operational designation is Suoi Tre 110kV Substation, in this phase, a 63MVA transformer is installed with a total investment of VND 84 billion.
The project commenced on June 30, 2023, completed construction, energized for acceptance, and put into operation in July 2024, 3 months ahead of schedule, ensuring quality and reliability in operation. This is a achievement competition project to celebrate the 49th establishment anniversary of the Southern Power Corporation (May 1, 1975 - May 1, 2024); 70 years of the Vietnam Power Sector's Tradition Day (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2024).
The project's goal is to meet the load demand of Long Khanh and Suoi Tre Industrial Parks in Dong Nai province; Supply power mainly to Long Khanh Industrial Park and Long Khanh city; loop-connect the existing Long Khanh 110kV substation; Reduce the 22kV power supply radius, reduce power losses, ensure voltage quality, and improve the reliability of regional power supply. The project also improves the power supply reliability and safety, and reduces technical losses on the transmission grid in the area, ensuring the N-1 criteria according to EVN's policy.
The project was completed, energized, and put into operation ahead of schedule, contributing to improving voltage quality, reducing power loss, enhancing power supply capacity, and meeting the electricity demand for production and daily life of people in Long Khanh city and neighboring areas; demonstrating the interest, positive, and effective contribution of EVNSPC to the socio-economic development of Long Khanh city in particular and Dong Nai province in general, contributing to improving the power grid system reliability and effectively implementing safe and continuous power supply in EVNSPC's service territory.
