1.2tr dong to build Song Bung 4A hydropower plant

On August 29, Phu Thanh My Joint Stock Co started construction on Song Bung (Bung River) 4A hydropower plant of Vu Gia-Thu Bon step hydropower system in Quang Nam province's Dong Giang Dist, which is the Grade III work with two 45 MW turbines.
The plant is estimated to cost 1.2 trillion dong and expected to supply about 186 million kWh of electricity a year.
The first turbine is scheduled to be operational by September 2012.
